Location

Loreto is one of the most charming and authentic seaside towns in Baja. It is a coastal city located on the eastern coast of the Baja California Peninsula in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico, roughly 700–715 miles south of the U.S. border at San Diego/Tijuana; or approximately 300-315 miles north of Cabo San Lucas! It is situated between the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Giganta mountains.
